OUR OLYMPIC MASCOT

CHARLIE AND I MADE A MASCOT AT SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT OLYMPICS. I CHOSE AN ELEPHANT BECAUSE IT REPRESENTS MY COUNTRY, INDIA AND WHO WE ARE. IN THE OLDEN DAYS  INDIANS WENT ON ELEPHANTS WHERE EVER THEY WANTED TO GO.

WE CHOSE TO MAKE A MASCOT ELEPHANT OUT OF PAPER MACHE. HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS.

YOU WILL NEED:
  • NEWSPAPER
  • BALLOONS
  • PAINT
  • GLUE
  • TOILET PAPER ROLLS
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:
  • YOU FIRST BLOW A BALLOON
  • THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO RIP UP PAPER INTO SMALL STRIPS
  • GLUE THE NEWSPAPER ON TO THE BALLOON SHAPE
  • YOU NEED 4 LAYERS OF NEWSPAPER TO MAKE IT THICK.
  • THEN WE LEAVE IT TO DRY
  • THEN WE CUT 2 TOILET PAPER ROLLS IN HALF AND THEN WE USED  TOILET PAPER ROLLS FOR THE LEGS
  • THEN WE PAINTED THE BODY OF THE ELEPHANT GREY

I FELT LIKE I WANTED TO HIT PEOPLE BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP BREAKING MY ELEPHANT.

I TRIED TO USE MY IGNORING MUSCLES BY BEING ABSORBED IN MY LEARNING, PERSEVERING AND NOTICING.
